High Steel Service Center, Inc. announces major plant expansion.
Lancaster, PA: High Steel Service Center, Inc. announces a 58,000 square foot expansion that will increase the size of their facility to 200,000 square feet.
High Steel Service Center, Inc. is expanding the range of its services, and will add a high speed, state-of-the-art slitter and precision blanking line. According to Dan Kelly, President of High Steel Service Center, Inc., this $8.0 million dollar investment is further evidence of the company’s commitment to supporting the future growth of its valuable customers.

The company’s new equipment includes a new, state-of-the-art slitter and precision blanking lines. This brand new equipment will enable High to provide closer tolerances, while improving operating efficiencies that can reduce their clients’ total costs.
The company broke ground in October of 2002 and is expected to complete the expansion and have the new equipment in place and fully operational by June, 2003.
